Andrew Kent

Andrew Kent

Andrew Kent was a fixture of the LA Music scene in the 1970’s.

Kent started his career as the staff photographer of the Los Angeles Free Press in 1969, and teamed up with fellow photographer Neal Preston in 1971 to create a prolific photographic partnership.

Kent created many memorable photographs of Jim Morrison, Elton John, Iggy Pop and others, but his breathtaking work with David Bowie in 1976/1977 remains arguably the most important collection of Bowie photos in the pop star’s career.
